CHAIR TRANSFORMATION
I create for those who are looking for beauty and sophistication in interiors.
In my art studio, he gives a second life to old chairs. He makes them in a glamorous style, combining simplicity and luxury, which results in elegant and sophisticated chairs that will add shine to any interior.
I take inspiration from the baroque style but keep the contemporary character. The main theme of my chairs is women, but I don’t say no to other inspirations. I take care of details and work with high-quality fabrics and materials. The chairs are decorated with finesse and originality by hand-embroidered details in portraits. Each chair is a unique design that will give the interior individuality and originality.
Renovating old furniture is not only giving the interior a unique character, it is also an environmentally friendly aspect, thanks to which we are environmentally friendly.
Everyone thinks that the time will come for something and the time is just gone
So I decided not to postpone myself until later. I started to pursue my passion for creation. For 20 years I have been associated with the insurance industry. I needed something different in my professional life. I have been interested in interior design programs, antiques or restoring furniture for a long time. Ideas have been in my head for a long time, too, but there was always something that took them to the background. And when more than a year ago, while being on the antiquities market in the Netherlands, in my way, figuratively speaking, “chairs stood up”, I thought to myself now or never. And so I exchanged my intellectual work in insurance for the work of my hands, for work out of passion – to give objects a second life.
The acquired knowledge and practice contributed to the fact that I do what I love.
